American Snuff Co. Charitable Trust donates $13,500 to Habitat for Humanity in Memphis

American Snuff Co. has enjoyed a partnership with Habitat for more than 25 years. In 2015, 22 volunteers hung siding, caulked, painted and performed trim work. “Habitat is about more than houses,” said Clayton Griffin, senior manager engagement/training for the Memphis facility. “It contributes to the Memphis economy, transforms neighborhoods and changes lives. It’s about love for our neighbors and about improving the communities in which we live. The company’s involvement is part of a larger, longstanding partnership in the Memphis community with Habitat for Humanity. Since 1983, the Memphis area has built 434 homes with Habitat local families. Through the donations of the Charitable Trust, a real difference has been made in the lives of countless people. American Snuff Co. will resolutely continue to seek out organizations that make a difference in the lives of those who need it and offer its financial support to help keep these groups successful.
